PRESCHOOL COURSE @ PELANGI BALAU RESORT, DESARU
From 13th until 15th April, the PPDJB had organized a meeting for all preschool teachers in Johore Bahru. I like the idea because I can meet my fellow preschool teacher and share ideas and information. I also want to have the latest statement given by the preschool officials about how to managed the class and curriculum.
Some officials are quite familiar. They were Mr. Jamaluddin Abd. Rahman (PPDr), Tn. Hj. Taufik b. Hamzah (PPD Head of Student Affairs) and Puan Raziah Abd. Rahim (PPDr Head of Languages).
I want to highlight few things which have been touched:
Mr Jamaluddin: The way to be a towering preschool teacher (as usual)
Tn. Hj. Taufik: Prohibition of caning and hitting pupils (remember that. Cikgu Mira! huhuh)
Pn. Raziah: No uniformity in preschool class schedules, don't decorate your lesson plan book, the final confirmation of the preschool lesson plan.
I learnt that Cik Nurazrina (SK Taman Universiti 1) and Pn. Nurhafidzah (SK Sri Skudai) had been selected as academic JUs. Congratulations! They also presented a module about the fun way to teach pupils English.
There were also a short keynotes from Pn. Norazlina Saniman (SK Larkin 2), a national JU of preschool which were very useful. She told us the early method to teach pupils how to write. (using 5 fingers!)..Look at the sequence of these photos..
Pupils can use the space left to sketch new pictures of a face.
HEALTH CHECK UP
On 12th April few health staffs from Clinic of Kempas came to give pupils minor medical check check up. Pupils were excited. They couldn't wait to know their medical condition. One of my pupils, Afif Shareza got his nose bleeding due to hot weather. He went to the toilet and Cikgu Farhana gave him a bit of treatment. He told us this happened to him seldomly, something that drove us relieved. Otherwise, we've been quite worry if there's anything bad happen to him.
Owh, dear. this pupil tried so hard to swallow the medicine. I hope she will be able to finish it at home. Go! Go! Hannah!
